Sitting just steps from Plaza Catalunya on a quiet side street, the hotel puts groups within easy walking distance of the city's main sights while still offering a calm place to regroup at night. The breakfast spread comes up in nearly every evaluation, with several travelers calling it a genuine highlight — a wide mix of hot and cold options, thoughtful allergy-friendly and gluten-free choices, and staff who've gone out of their way to open the dining room early or store luggage so a group could head straight out on tour. Check-in is consistently described as fast and smooth, and the front desk staff earn repeated praise for being attentive, welcoming, and quick to solve problems.
Rooms are where expectations should be calibrated. Several evaluators note that accommodations run compact, particularly in triples once a pull-out sofa is opened, though bathrooms and showers are frequently singled out as a bright spot. Air conditioning has been a mild recurring issue in warmer months — a few groups mentioned early struggles with cooling that improved after a night or two, with fans available in the meantime. The mini fridge in at least one room reportedly only lightly chilled drinks, and there's no lobby coffee or water station, though a bar and café area is on hand.
