What our travelers say
Hotel Zi Teresa earns consistent praise from group leaders and tour directors for the thing that matters most when you're moving a group through the Sorrentine Peninsula: location. Sitting just off Piazza Tasso and a short walk from Sorrento Station, the hotel puts travelers within easy reach of the town's main square, shops, and transport links. Tour directors particularly appreciate that Parcheggio Lauro — a key motorcoach pickup point — is roughly a ten-minute walk away, which keeps morning departures clean and uncomplicated. The sea-view terrace and garden give groups a genuine place to decompress at the end of a long day of sightseeing, and several evaluators have singled out the helpful, friendly staff as a reliable constant across visits. A few things are worth setting expectations around. The breakfast is described as solid and adequate, but it doesn't quite reach the level of the better spreads you'll find elsewhere in the region — it does the job without being a highlight of the stay. Some rooms lean toward dated in their décor, and at least one group encountered a minor plumbing issue, though staff resolved it promptly, which says something useful about how the property handles problems. Getting the motorcoach close to the front door can also be logistically tricky given the narrow streets typical of this part of Sorrento, so tour directors should build that into their planning. Rooms with balconies offer lovely views, and the spaciousness of the guest rooms has been appreciated by travelers who need a bit of breathing room after shared days on the road. Hotel Zi Teresa works well for school and student groups that want a genuine Sorrento base without sacrificing walkability or staff responsiveness. It's a practical, comfortable choice for programs moving through the Amalfi Coast corridor — not a flashy showpiece property, but one that group leaders have indicated they'd return to, which is often the most honest endorsement there is.

What group leaders & tour directors say

ExcellentGroup Leader· March 2025· XRSP
The hotel has an excellent location, helpful staff, and a very good breakfast.
ExcellentTour Director· March 2025· XRSP
Access can be challenging, but it remains a very good choice overall.
ExcellentTour Director· March 2025· CLAR
Friendly service and a nice property. Breakfast is decent, though not exceptional for the area. The location is a highlight—just a 10-minute walk from Parcheggio Lauro, making motorcoach pickup very convenient.
GoodGroup Leader· March 2024· ROHP
Good location for Sorrento access. Rooms are spacious with a lovely view, though the property feels a bit dated and breakfast was underwhelming. A hot water issue in one room was resolved quickly by staff. Would request this property again.
