What our travelers say
Hotel Cristina has a way of becoming the highlight of the entire trip — not just the Sorrento stop. Group leaders and tour directors across multiple programs have consistently pointed to the sixth-floor terrace and its pool as the defining feature: a sweeping panorama over the Bay of Naples with Mount Vesuvius sitting on the horizon. That's not a background detail you get used to quickly, and our travelers haven't. More than one group leader has mentioned wanting to come back to Sorrento specifically to stay here again, which says something real about how the property lands with people. The staff deserve equal mention. Our tour directors have noted the hotel's willingness to extend dinner and pool hours so student groups can make the most of the terrace without feeling rushed — a small logistical gesture that makes a genuine difference at the end of a long travel day. The sixth-floor dining room draws strong praise on its own: the food is considered outstanding, and the kitchen has shown flexibility with pre-arranged, group-portioned meals that keep things moving smoothly for larger parties. Shuttle service and hands-on luggage assistance round out an operation that clearly has experience with organized groups and their particular rhythms. Hotel Cristina is a strong fit for school and student groups that benefit from a property where the wow factor does some of the program's work for it — a dramatic setting that sparks conversation and makes the geography of southern Italy feel immediate and tangible. The combination of attentive staff, practical group logistics, and that terrace view makes it well-suited for programs where both comfort and impact matter. Groups traveling through the Amalfi Coast or broader southern Italy itinerary will find this a natural anchor night in Sorrento.

The views, pool, and overall comfort were all top-notch. It was such an outstanding stay that returning to Sorrento just to stay here again is genuinely tempting!

This hotel had the best view and incredibly welcoming staff, who greeted our group with a shuttle and handled all luggage. Dinner on the 6th-floor dining room was outstanding, and smaller portions were arranged in advance upon request.
ExcellentTour Director· June 2024· CLAS
This hotel will likely be every group's favorite. Staff graciously accommodated requests for later dinner and pool hours, allowing full enjoyment of the stunning sixth-floor terrace pool with sweeping views of Sorrento, Mount Vesuvius, and the Bay of Naples.

A favourite among our group. The views are amazing, the food is outstanding, and the staff are friendly and helpful throughout.
