What our travelers say
Hotel Daniel sits on Sonnenstrasse in central Munich, and that central position is one of its clearest strengths. Tour directors traveling with our Bavaria programs have noted that the location holds up well against comparable properties in the city — easy to reach, easy to leave, and well-positioned for groups that need to move efficiently between sights, transit connections, and evening gathering points. For school and student groups on a packed itinerary, not having to budget extra travel time at the start and end of each day makes a genuine difference. One thing worth flagging before arrival: rooms on the front of the building pick up street noise from Sonnenstrasse, which is a lively urban corridor. Groups with early wake-ups or travelers who sleep lightly may want to request interior or rear-facing rooms when booking. It's a practical consideration rather than a dealbreaker, and the kind of detail that's good to know in advance rather than discover at check-in. Hotel Daniel at three stars is a sensible, no-frills base for student and teacher groups touring Munich and the surrounding region. It isn't a property that will wow anyone with amenities, but that's not really the point — what it offers is a workable location at a price point that keeps group travel budgets realistic. It fits best with programs that treat the hotel as a place to sleep and regroup rather than a destination in itself, which describes most of our Bavaria itineraries well.

What group leaders & tour directors say

The location is very convenient and on par with similar hotels. Note that rooms facing the front of the building may experience significant noise.
