Get help in an emergency
The red HELP button: the local emergency number, the group's leaders and the Passports office.
On tour, the red HELP button puts every number you might need in one place: the local emergency number, your group leader and chaperones, and the Passports office.
HELP doesn't alert anyone by itself. It's a shortcut: nothing happens until you call or text.
Before you start
- PassportsGo on your phone, during the tour. HELP is for travelers and chaperones; parents at home don't have it.

Open HELP
Tap ☰ at the top left of Home, then the red HELP button 1.

Call local emergency services
The red button 1 calls the emergency number of the country your phone is in: here, Italy's 112.
If your phone can't tell where it is, the button shows 112, with a note: it reaches emergency services across Europe and from most mobile phones elsewhere.

Reach your leaders
Tour Emergency Contacts 1 lists your group leader and chaperones. Tap Call or Text 2 under a name.

Call Passports
Under Passports Office, tap Call Toll Free 1 or Call Direct 2. From outside the US, use Call Direct: toll-free numbers usually don't work from abroad.
Good to know
Does tapping HELP alert someone?
No. It only shows the numbers. Nobody is told anything until you call or text.
I don't see HELP in the menu.
It's there during the tour dates, for travelers, chaperones and group leaders. Parents at home don't have it: call Passports at (800) 332-7277.
The local number isn't for the country I'm in.
It comes from your phone's location. If location is off, or your phone can't tell the country, the button shows 112 instead.
