Play a City Quest
Follow the walking quest stop by stop: answer the questions, snap team photos, try the side quests.
On some days your group leader starts a City Quest: your group walks from stop to stop through the city, reading a little history, answering a question and snapping a team photo at each one. Your team shares one quest, and everyone follows along on their own phone.
- Step 1
Open the quest
When the quest starts you get a notification, and Home shows the quest 1. Tap it.
- Step 2
Walk to the next stop
The map shows your team as a blue dot and the way to the next stop 1. Walking directions 2 opens your phone's maps.
The stop opens by itself when you get there. If it doesn't, tap We're here 3.
- Step 3
Answer the question
Read the stop's story together, then answer its question 1: tap an answer. A wrong answer gets another try, and some questions offer a hint.
- Step 4
Snap a photo and move on
A team photo is optional but fun: Add team photo 1. When your team is ready, tap Next stop 2.
- Step 5
Try the Side Quests
The camera at the top of the quest opens the Side Quests 1: photo challenges you can do anywhere along the way for bonus points, like the most unusual gelato flavor you can find 2. Tap Add to send your photo. The number on the camera is how many are left.
Always ask before photographing people.
Good to know
Can I look back at an earlier stop?
Yes. Use the arrows beside the stop's name at the top, or tap the name for the list of stops. Your team's place in the quest doesn't change.
Can parents follow along?
Parents don't play. When the quest ends, the recap on Home shows the route, the teams and their photos.
I don't see a City Quest.
Your group leader starts each quest on the day. If your group isn't doing one, there's nothing to see.
