Côte à Côte traces the full length of France in ten days, moving from the grand boulevards of Paris to the granite ramparts of St. Malo and finally to the sun-bleached coastline of the Côte d'Azur. The tour's shape is the thing: rather than lingering in one region, your group experiences France as a country of genuine contrasts — the urban density of the capital, the seafaring history of Brittany, the château-studded Loire Valley, and the Mediterranean light of the south. By Day 9, students who arrived wide-eyed at Charles de Gaulle will have crossed nearly the entire country.
