Request special travel arrangements
Land only, a different departure city, or different dates — the deadline and how to ask.
If your traveler needs something different from the group's travel plan, like flying from another city, staying on after the tour, or skipping the group flights, ask Passports here. Requests must reach Passports at least 120 days before departure.
Before you start
- PassportsGo, signed in as the traveler or a parent or guardian.

Open Special Travel Arrangements
On your traveler's page (Account on Home), under Forms & consent, tap Special Travel Arrangements 1. A red number means Passports is waiting for your answer: a request, or a note that you don't need any.

Pick what you need
Tick what applies:
- Land only 1: your traveler arranges their own flights and airport transfers, and joins the group at the first hotel.
- Different departure city 2: fly from another U.S. city, and type which one 3. Any price difference adjusts the program cost.
- Step 3
Different dates? Read the rules
For a Travel extension / different dates 1 (staying on after the group, or leaving earlier), pick the dates 2 and the city you'll fly home from.
The rules 3 are on the screen: a $425 airline change fee plus any airfare difference, confirmed before anything is charged. Only the airline ticket changes: transfers, meals and hotels after the group leaves are yours to arrange. If Passports can't make the change, the $425 is refunded.

Send your request
Add anything else Passports should know under Details 1, then tap Send my request 2.
Your traveler doesn't need anything special? Tap I have no special arrangements 3 instead.

Send the message
A message to Passports opens 1, already filled in with your request 2. Tap Send 3.

Passports follows up
Your request is with our team 1. Passports replies in that conversation about whether it can be done and what it costs. Nothing is charged until you agree.
To change or add to your request, tap Open my ticket 2 and reply there.
Good to know
It's less than 120 days before departure.
The form closes then, because the group's flights are being ticketed. You can still ask Passports from the same page, and Passports will tell you what's possible.
Is there a credit for land only?
It depends on the tour. Passports tells you in its reply.
Who can send a request?
The traveler or a parent or guardian.
