Choose travel protection
Ultimate Peace of Mind, Peace of Mind, or waive — how to choose, and what you see when your group has chosen for you.
Step 2 of enrolling starts with travel protection: what you get back if the traveler has to cancel. You choose a plan or waive it; nothing is picked for you unless your group has chosen a plan for everyone.
- Step 1
Choose a plan, or waive it
Read each option, then click one: Ultimate Peace of Mind Plan 1, Peace of Mind Plan 2, or Waive Travel Protection 3. Each description says what the plan pays back and when; the price is on the right.
Waiving is a choice too, and the form won't go on until you've made one.
You can change your mind any time before you submit. Questions about the plans? Call Passports at 1-800-332-7277.

- Step 2
If your group chose a plan
Some groups choose a plan for every participant. Then it's the only option and already selected. The note in it 1 says your group leader chose it, and that it can't be waived.

Good to know
Why do the prices differ from what a friend paid?
Plan prices are set for each tour, so they vary from tour to tour.
What does the note about airline tickets mean?
If Passports bought the flights, a refunded airline ticket comes back as a voucher from the airline, when the airline offers one, and its value comes off your refund from Passports. Service fees, like card fees, aren't refunded.
Screens show a sample family and tour — your names, dates and amounts will differ. Checked against the app September 24, 2026.
