What our travelers say
The Belere Hotel is a solid four-star option in Rabat, offering the kind of reliable infrastructure that group travel demands — buffet meals, enough rooms to absorb a full tour, and a central address on Avenue Moulay Youssef that puts the city within reach. Tour directors who have brought groups through describe the experience as functional and acceptable, with both the dinner and breakfast buffets doing the job without any particular surprises in either direction. That said, it's worth going in with clear expectations. Our tour directors have noted that the property feels a bit dated relative to its star rating, and at least one check-in experience involved a room allocation mix-up that took a quarter hour to sort out — with triple-share guests initially scattered across different floors in mismatched configurations. None of this is unusual for a large group arrival, but it does underscore the importance of reconfirming rooming lists carefully ahead of time and building a buffer into the first afternoon's schedule. The Belere works best for groups that need a dependable base in the Moroccan capital without requiring a polished luxury experience. It's a practical fit for student and teacher groups on a structured itinerary, where the hotel is a place to sleep and regroup rather than a destination in itself. Groups with more flexibility around logistics or a preference for a more updated aesthetic may want to weigh their options, but for a group moving through Rabat on a full program, the Belere delivers what it needs to.

What group leaders & tour directors say

GoodTour Director· March 2025· XJT
The hotel was adequate but a bit outdated. Check-in took ~15 minutes to resolve a room allocation mix-up, as triple-share guests were spread across floors in mismatched room types. Dinner and breakfast buffets were both acceptable.
