Classical Adventure

Classical Adventure takes your group across two of the most storied civilizations in Western history — ancient Greece and imperial Rome — in nine days that move from the Acropolis to the Colosseum with a pause on the sun-drenched Sorrentine Peninsula in between. The arc of the tour is purposeful: Athens first, where the foundations of democracy, philosophy, and architecture are still visible in stone; then south through Italy, where those ideas were absorbed, adapted, and projected across an empire. It is a route that rewards students who have studied either culture in the classroom and want to stand inside the spaces they have only seen in textbooks.
