Coursework can be submitted in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, or Italian — and you have 3 months from registration to finish online.

    Get your course access

    Idioma emails Schoology instructions before your trip departs.

  4. Step 4

    Travel, then complete coursework

    Document the experience and develop curricula you can integrate into your classroom. You have 3 months from registration.

  5. Step 5

    Idioma processes your credits

    Once coursework is complete, Idioma issues credits or hours directly.

Course description

Learning Beyond the Classroom: Travel Course

This Learning Beyond the Classroom: Travel Course provides K-12 teachers an opportunity to earn graduate credit or professional development for the development of a travel program or personal travel overseas. The purpose of this course is to document the process, reflect on the experience and develop curricula to integrate into the classroom in order to address problems that connect to important world issues. Coursework may be submitted in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin or Italian. Teachers have 3 months from date of registration to complete the online course material.
