Carry-On Quest.
Can you pack light?
Nine days, three countries, one bag — a 7-minute retro game about the choices our luggage policy is trying to save you from. Zero fees is a perfect run.
Tip: rotate your phone to landscape (or go fullscreen) — the game is widescreen.
Everything the game is trying to teach you.
The one-bag rule
Bring one carry-on suitcase (21″ × 14″ × 9″) or one medium checked bag (27″ × 21″ × 14″, 50 lbs max) — never both. Either way, you also get one personal item (18″ × 14″ × 8″) that fits under the seat.
Intra-Europe flights shrink the limits
- Carry-on: 21″ × 14″ × 9″, 22 lbs
- Checked: 27″ × 21″ × 14″, 44 lbs max
- Personal item: 15.7″ × 11.8″ × 7.9″
Over the limit on an internal flight and the airline charges a fee at the gate — the exact moment the game's weigh-in recreates.
Why carry-on wins
A carry-on can't get lost if it never leaves your side. It skips baggage claim, fits tiny hotel lifts and train racks, and rolls the whole 15-minute walk from the Florence station without complaint. That's the A+ run.
Fee amounts in the game are illustrative, not published airline pricing. The real rules live on the luggage policy page.
