Give yourself
some credit.
Optional undergraduate credits, layered on top of your Passports tour. Register direct with Idioma, document your trip, finish online — and put real college credit on your transcript.
An optional academic enhancement to your travel experience.
We’ve partnered with Idioma Education & Consulting to bring student travelers the opportunity to earn undergraduate-level credits as an optional enhancement to your travel experience. Coursework documents the journey, reflects on the experience and culture, and connects to important world issues. Three (3) units of undergraduate-level, elective, academic credit — accepted as electives toward a degree (not applicable to a major).
XWLC 170 — Learning Beyond the Classroom.

Current college students
Stack 3 elective credits onto your transcript. Helpful for finishing a degree, picking up an extra elective, or showing study-abroad experience without a semester away.
Strong high-school students
Pick up undergraduate-level credit before you start college — useful for AP-track travelers planning to graduate early, or for showing initiative on college applications.
Aspiring writers + journalists
The course is documentation-heavy — photos, reflections, observations. Travelers who already journal or photograph naturally do exceptionally well in it.
