Day 1: Arrival

Depart continental U.S. for Hawaii. There's a movie on board and a whole new world to look forward to.

Arrive in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, feted by the traditional lei greeting. Aloha malihini (welcome newcomers).

A walk along the splendid Waikiki Beach this evening takes you past vacationers from the world over and miles of fabulous, high-rise beachfront hotels.

Day 2: Pearl Harbor Cruise, Honolulu City Sightseeing, Optional Luau dinner

Today, discover major landmarks in and around Honolulu.

Take a cruise of Pearl Harbor today.

After watching a 23-minute documentary at the Visitor Center, you will board a Navy launch to transfer to the site of the USS Arizona, where you will relive even more vividly December 7, 1941, the "date which will live in infamy." As you step aboard the Arizona Memorial, built over the sunken ship, and feel the weight of the fate of the 1,177 sailors who perished with their ship, you'll realize that this is a visit you will never forget.

On your coach tour, you will see landmarks such as the Iolani Palace, the statue of King Kamehameha, the Hawaii State Capitol, and Chinatown.

Free time in Honolulu

Take advantage of a free afternoon to explore one of the many shopping areas for souvenirs or bask in the sun along the palm tree lined (and world famous) Waikiki Beach.

Optional Luau dinner

Tonight, enjoy a luau dinner, under the stars of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 3: Honolulu Zoo, Optional Atlantis Submarine Tour

Wander through the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu to the nearby Zoo. Hundreds of exotic birds will screech and gawk back at you; large animals lumber around behind tall fences, contemplating their lot.

Free time in Honolulu

The afternoon is unscheduled.

Optional Atlantis Submarine Tour

Make your way to the harbor where you will board an Atlantis Submarine. You will descend 100 feet and see real marine life up close, including coral, turtles, and fish, as well as artificial reefs, shipwrecks and airplanes.

Day 4: Honolulu, Optional Excursion to Oahu's North and Windward Shores

Plan your free time or consider an optional excursion.

Optional Excursion to Oahu's North and Windward Shores

Head to the North Shore, where serious surfers ride the "big water." Sunset Beach is legendary for its twenty-foot-high waves. The tube waves are spectacular at the treacherous Banzai Pipeline.

Polynesian Cultural Center

Head to the most widely visited destination in Hawaii: a Polynesian theme park with eight re-created tropical villages, where you will observe the 'inhabitants' engaged in cultural activities pertaining to the Central and South Pacific islands. In real life, the characters you'll see are Hawaiian students on work-study scholarships at the local campus of Brigham Young University.

Day 5: Honolulu, Optional Excursion to Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay

Plan your free time or consider an optional excursion.

Optional Excursion to Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay

As you drive by on your way to the bay, have a look at the iconic Diamond Head, a volcanic cone etched on the Honolulu horizon which reaches an altitude of 762 feet.

Day 6: Honolulu

Enjoy some free time in Honolulu today.

You're on your own tonight. Book a table at one of the hundreds of world-class restaurants on this magical island. All specialities are catered to.

Relax on the white beaches beneath Diamond Head, or shop in Honolulu's open-air marketplace. Visit a lei shop.

Day 7: Departure

Board a late-night flight homeward bound. Aloha, Hawaii.

Please note that there may be an overnight flight on this itinerary, with arrival at your destination city on the day after your flight departs.
