Teacher Travel Messageboard: ATMs in Europe

ATMs in Europe

Posted by Carole on 10/08/2009

Recently there was an article, I believe, in the NYTimes about ATMs in Europe not being compatible with US cards because of the chip and pin technology. Has anyone had any experience with this, specifically in London and the rest of England? We had no problem in Germany in April, but maybe they have not embraced the c&p standard yet.

Thanks.
