I did a bit of looking around and it seems like there are two choices -- super low-budget with EF Tours or premium with ACIS. Explorica doesn't offer a Japan trip. I may wait until my June London trip with Passports to decide whether I like Passports enough to forget about Japan... or whether the desire to see Japan is so great that I'll try another company.
