It seems to me that your itinerary would have let you know how much walking is involved. We're going to Italy and Switzerland this summer, and our itinerary makes it very clear that there will be a great deal of walking. Did you read yours? Also, these types of tours do not have bellhops or crewship stewards waiting on you hand and foot. We always had to carry our baggage to our rooms. I'm 47 (which is pretty close to 50), and I'm in great condition. Maybe you folks need to get off your cans and get in shape. You tour Europe by walking and hiking. Give me a break.
