Passports trip vs. doing a trip on your own

We successfully hosted 15 students from Paris in February at our school and had asked Myriam at Passports to put a custom trip together for our High school kids which included a home stay with our exchange students. Time went by and at the last minute, the other teachers tried to put a trip together on their own. Today I found out that they cancelled the entire trip (due to leave June 1st) because the airline and transportation fell through. They got their money back, but they have 15 very disappointed students. My middle school group leaves June 11th and I have every confidence that Passports will show us a great time (I'll send a follow-up when we return!) Thanks to Myriam, Dave and everyone else at Passports for taking care of our plans.
