Costa Rica The Road Less Traveled

Costa Rica is a cultural and natural paradise, but most travelers see only the large, touristy resort areas. Our Road Less Traveled program, however, offers a unique opportunity in the middle of a secluded natural rainforest to help an indigenous community create for themselves a sustainable future. At the same time, volunteers will be intimately exposed to a new and fascinating culture and will come to know and enjoy the spectacular natural beauty of the nation's lush rainforest.
