Seattle is a long way from the Grand Canyon. You'd have to fly to Flagstaff and then arrange transportation to the South Rim. The North Rim is more beautiful, but it would still be wintery and most likely still closed. I'm afraid short and cheap don't describe a trip from Seattle to the Grand Canyon. There are many wonderful sights closer to Seattle you could see instead.: In late March98 I am in Seattle. Could I join somebody for a short and cheap trip to Grand Canyon?
